Linnette has been a staff member of Harvest Alliance since 2003 with an evangelical and discipleship ministry reaching out to high school and college age girls across the St. Louis, Missouri area. She emphasizes not only winning these teens to Christ, but also building them up in the faith and then sending them out to reach others for Christ.  She helps start Student Quest Christian Clubs on campuses and holds weekly meetings, small group Bible studies and relishes her one-on-one communication with these girls.
The club meetings have fostered friendships among girls with the same core values and provides a safe space to talk about issues which affect today’s teenagers. The meetings include student-led devotionals, fun games, guest speakers and the ever popular snacks. The clubs also plans events outside of the school week and during the summer. Each group is also encouraged to get involved in community service to others.

As an example of this community service focus, for several years students in the Student Quest Christian Club at Pattonville High School have gathered on Friday to work with Operation Backpack.  Each week they stock backpacks with food provided by Dorsett Village Church for students in need to take home for the weekend. This club recently held a fundraiser and presented a check for more than $1,300 to Dorsett Village Church to help provide the necessary funds for the food purchases.  As one of their teachers remarked,” It's been wonderful to see our (Student Quest) students take a leadership role in meeting these needs."

Linnette’s dedication to this ministry goes far beyond her connection with them during their High School and College years.  As Linnette says: “Although I meet my girls in high school, a lot of my time is spent with them beyond this years . . .  into college, marriage and the birth of children of their own. For me, mentoring these young ladies is a life-long commitment.”
