A message from Bridgette Castera:

At the beginning of 2024, we used proceeds from the sale of “Rapha House” to purchase another project house. Rapha House is the ministry we founded in 2007 and which continues to serve as a mission guesthouse and training center.

This new purchase will one day be a gorgeous property, just around the corner from our home and Rapha House. It has hence been branded, "The Corner by the Cure."  

The Corner by the Cure is my 4th renovation project here in Arcy sur Cure. Like the first 3 renovations, this new venture will one day serve its purpose in caring for those in ministry.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and since I first beheld this beauty, my vision has seen past the enormous work it will require in order to realize the amazing potential she contains; three ensuite-bedrooms, sitting/game room, newly pointed 2-feet thick stone walls, massive skylights, high ceilings, unique entryway, huge kitchen and the most important of all, the dining/great room.

So why another project house? The purposes for The Corner by the Cure include the following:

• A place where pastors and missionaries can stay for longer periods and have their own space with a kitchen.
• A professional kitchen for the hospitality ministry that I have always practiced
• To provide more space for the emerging needs of Rapha House.

The need for training, debriefing and spiritual leadership across Europe is enormous. Rapha House is growing as a resource to meet these needs. Cross-cultural workers are coming for trainings and workshops, providing them with new skills, knowledge and tools to train, debrief, and provide spiritual leadership to others.

The Corner by the Cure will provide a wonderful great room for larger training workshops. This is one of the cutting edges of what is happening at Rapha House, and a big reason more space is needed.

A drop in Arcy is causing ripples to move across Europe and Africa and you have the opportunity to join in this incredible ministry impact.

• Make a one-time donation for the renovation costs.  The property has been purchased and renovations already started. The completion of the renovations will require approximately 80,000 Euros in additional funds.
