The Haitian Connexion

Haitians in Tijuana, Mexico?! Yes, there are thousands of Haitians living on the streets just over the U.S. border in Tijuana. Harvest Alliance missionaries Louis and Janey DeMeo, who speak French, have found a unique outreach to the French-Creole speaking Haitians. “It’s a joy to see their faces light up when they hear us speak their language, and as they learn we’ve been to Haiti many times,” they shared. Pray for open doors for the DeMeo’s to share the Gospel with these groups, and for open hearts who are getting to hear the Word and worship (courtesy of their kids who lead worship in French).

The Hoop Scoop!

HoopersThis fall has been a busy one for Jill and Derek Hooper, as they launched five college campus ministries over the course of just two weeks in September! The Hoopers have a heart for student ministry and mentorship in Sacramento, California. God continues to use their ministry in a powerful way, moving in the hearts of 400 students that recently responded and want to know more about a personal relationship with Christ. “The Lord’s hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.” Acts 11:23

Pray for Jill and Derek as the minister to these students, and for changed lives, soft hearts, and more students that are ready to be “all in” for Him.

Kampala is one of Africa's greenest cities.

Kampala is one of Africa’s greenest cities.

Harvest missionaries John and Janie Chitester are traveling to Uganda and Rwanda during the month of July and early August! Please keep them in your prayers for safe travel and an effective time of ministry and discipleship. At the end of July, the couple will travel to Uganda’s capital city of Kampala, where they will be joining Harvest missionaries John and Gladys Mihigo to teach discipleship principles and the doctrine of Salvation to local church pastors.
